If you plan on having your own website and
reselling the products from the VP Warehouse, you'll need a way to accept
payments from your customers on your website. It is also a good
idea to provide a way for your customers to pay with an online check.
There are basically two options
when it comes to accepting payments on your website. The first option is
to obtain a merchant account. Most all
merchant account provide a way for you to accept online checks as well and the
funds are transferred into your personal or business bank account on a daily
basis. Merchant accounts normally require a one-time set-up fee as well as
a small monthly fee and percentage of each transaction. Since most merchant account gateways do not allow
multiple "thank you" page URL's, you will also need a shopping cart
interface program to work along side your Merchant account. This allows
you to set up individual thank you pages for your individual products.
Another option is to utilize a Third Party
Processing Service. They take care of the actual credit card/check
processing for you and most can be programmed to transfer your customers
automatically to a thank you page after placing the order.

THIRD PARTY PROCESSING:
Paypal -
They do require that you register both a bank account and a major credit card
with them in order to be able to send and withdraw funds. Be sure to read
Paypal's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) to make certain the item you are selling is
not against their terms.
